Belovast Energy Limited, establishing in 2020, whose business is closely related to energy efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainability, is an energy audit firm from Kenya. It had won MSME Honours Award 2025 Tech Transformer Category and was nominated for the Africa Sustainability Award 2025 at the Africa Renewable Energy Award, which fully demonstrated its promising future prospects

As an energy audit firm whose founders boast strong professional expertise, it has undoubtedly garnered substantial professional recognition, and is capable of delivering targeted professional services to relevant enterprises in related fields. Its services generate tangible benefits for clients, which facilitates broader recognition and adoption of its perspectives among enterprises, enabling the company to achieve sustained development within a positive cycle.
However, as a small-scale technology service enterprise, the company is constrained by its limited size. A review of the company’s LinkedIn profile indicates that it has fewer than ten employees. Constrained by limited production capacity, such a small enterprise struggles to expand its influence continuously, and can hardly compete with large-scale, international peers in the same sector.
As an indispensable part of the world community, African entrepreneurs will have a bigger role in making efforts for environment all over the globe. Policies and supports by international society as well as Kenya government would enable it to attract more attention both within Kenya and throughout Africa which makes way for increasing its potential consumer group: On the other hand, there is updating information on company’s LinkedIn page that has always participated and organized small workshops around sustainable development and energy conservation and emission reduction, thereby widening influence scope with industrial peer companies.
Looking forward, although we keep on constantly promoting this concept of sustainable development, the fact that this sort of work leads to a long delay before receiving any benefits means it is hard to get industrial enterprises to pay enough attention right from the beginning of their establishment; these sorts of companies care about quick profits instead of looking out for longer-term cost saving. So attracting those new small and medium-sized firms will turn into an issue in the company’s future And furthermore, the demand for the company’s technical services is very much related to government policies and people around the world’s attitude toward the environment, only when environmental protection and sustainable development are always among our top social concerns can the company have adequate customers’ interest

Being an energy audit company doesn’t require it to use as many resources like regular manufacturing companies do. Its main business is providing green development consulting services for other enterprises, so it must constantly improve its own level of expertise in relevant areas, gain more clients’ recognition, and strive to offer long-term service support to other enterprises.
