I am an action-oriented and entrepreneurial sociologist specialising in development cooperation. My research on Sub-Saharan Africa is focused within the borderlands of cultural and political contexts and economic agency to grasp the realities of a continent (e.g. democratization and emergency aid) moving towards peace and prosperity. My professional experience comes from a NGO in Tanzania doing civic education with African youths; a private consultancy doing strategic partnerships to build CSO/NGO capacity and a public awareness campaign. I hope to demonstrate how global actors and local ideas can assist the bottom of the pyramid when youth and democratic policies work together.
