Iheukwumere Princewill Onyemachi is a Nigerian Civil Engineer and Water Resources Engineering researcher committed to advancing sustainable development through engineering innovation, climate resilience, and evidence-based policy. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Water Resources Engineering at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri.
His work focuses on hydrology, water resources management, hydraulic engineering, and climate adaptation, with a growing interest in sustainable infrastructure and environmental resilience. Passionate about research, innovation, and entrepreneurship, he seeks to develop practical solutions that contribute to resilient communities and support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He welcomes opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration across engineering, environmental sustainability, and international development.
Agribusiness small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are critical to employment generation, food security, and rural economic development in Nigeria. However, persistent challenges including inadequate infrastructure, limited access to finance, climate variability, and weak value-chain integration continue to constrain their growth and competitiveness. This study assessed the opportunities, constraints, and sustainable entrepreneurship pathways shaping agribusiness SMEs within the cassava value chain in Imo, Akwa Ibom, and Ogun States of Southern Nigeria.
