Is AAE free?

Yes.  all AAE services are provided free of charge. The only exception is the issuance of membership and trainee certificates, which incurs a nominal administrative fee.

I am registered on AllAfripreneurs. How can I update my profile?

Log in and visit your profile page. Locate the Edit Profile link under the AllAfripreneur tab on your profile page

I will like to change my account’s email address.

How can I obtain a membership certificate?

Provide government registration certificates, evidence of your company’s activities (if you are already operating) and the nominal administrative fee.

How does AAE protect user privacy and sensitive user information?

The AAE team manually reviews all registrations to ensure that only bona fide members are admitted  to the community. Profile visibility is configured at three levels: Public, Registered Users Only, and Administrators Only. Whiles basic profile information is public, email addresses are visible only to registered users .

For the Entrepreneur groups, responses to needs-assessment questions—such as “What are your enterprise’s current needs?” and “How would you like the AAE community to help?”—are visible solely to registered users.

Does AAE directly fund member projects?

No. Our interventions are limited to assisted connections to voluntary human resources advising entrepreneurs on the steps to take and how to address challenges.

Can I request to host a volunteer/intern serving via online mode?

Yes. First browse the AAE profiles and reach out to someone with a friendly introductory email and contact us for intermediary support. You may also complete the Assisted Connections form so our staff facilitate a search on your behalf.

Are there any other services for entrepreneurs

International Business Matchmaking Events

AAE organizes International matchmaking and investor events that connect entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals from around the world. These gatherings serve as a platform for showcasing innovative ideas and technologies while fostering cross-border connections that lead to meaningful international business opportunities.

Do you have networking event for small business?

Yes. We organize both virtual and local networking events designed for small business owners and entrepreneurs.

All Volunteers FAQs

Is there monetary compensation for AAE online volunteering work?

No. There is no monetary compensation for online volunteering with AAE and for offering support to fellow entrepreneurs. However, volunteers serve according to their own schedules, with flexible time commitments. Tasks are handled on the basis of availability and can be designed to accommodate your schedules. AAE may issue a Letter of Reference or a Certificate of Appreciation upon completing a service term. We are forever grateful for every contribution, as our volunteers make our ongoing work possible.

Are there some tasks that I can perform on my own?

Yes. You are welcome to undertake any of the activities listed independently.

Student FAQs

What is the purpose of the AAE Voluntary Internship Program?

The AAE Voluntary Internship Program provides student members with practical learning experience in our operational fields. AAE collaborates with universities to design internship assignments and provides a streamlined, independent application process. Students from  both African countries and non-African countries are eligible to  apply through their institutions. Upon successful completion, interns receive a Letter of Completion from AAE.

Awareness Raising FAQs

What do Awareness Volunteers promote?

Awareness Volunteers/Interns select at least two published items from the AAE website each week and promote them across social media platforms and relevant discussion forums. As part of their role, they track and record results—such as page views, comments, downloads, and feedback—and include this data in their progress and final reports.
