In the dynamic and fast-evolving business landscape of East Africa, one entrepreneur has built a unique cross-continental career by combining industrial experience, global vision, and a deep commitment to African development. Olle Olsson, an entrepreneur based in Rwanda and co-owner of Global Mineral House Ltd in Kenya, has emerged as a vital link between European enterprises and the promising markets of Africa. With a professional background rooted in medical technology entrepreneurship in Sweden, Olsson has shifted his focus to Africa, where he now operates successful businesses while supporting international collaboration across regions.

Olle’s journey began in Sweden, where he gained extensive experience founding and managing companies in the medical technology sector. This background not only sharpened his ability to identify practical business opportunities but also equipped him with operational expertise, cross-cultural communication skills, and a results-driven mindset. After years of developing European-oriented enterprises, he recognized the untapped potential of African markets and decided to direct his energy toward a region full of growth, innovation, and transformation.

Today, Olsson is primarily active in East Africa, with additional engagement in West Africa. As a co-owner of Global Mineral House Ltd in Kenya, he leads commercial operations that connect local resources with international demand. The company focuses on mineral exports from Rwanda to European markets, where European buyers have already expressed strong purchasing intentions. Despite existing market interest, the enterprise continues to strengthen its financial stability and operational reliability to ensure sustainable long-term partnerships.

In addition to mineral trading, Olsson leverages his medical technology background to expand into healthcare solutions. His second business initiative involves distributing Swedish medical equipment to public healthcare systems in Rwanda and Kenya. Compared with mineral export, this healthcare venture offers faster implementation and more streamlined supply-chain and logistics processes. By introducing high-quality European medical devices to African medical institutions, he contributes to improving local healthcare infrastructure while creating reliable and scalable business models.

Beyond managing his own enterprises, Olsson plays a significant role in promoting economic cooperation between Sweden and Africa. He actively supports small and medium-sized Swedish companies in exploring and entering the African market, helping them understand local regulations, business culture, and growth opportunities. In this way, he acts as a bridge, encouraging European innovation to thrive in African environments.

Currently, Olsson’s projects are supported by structured guidance and volunteer assistance, with clear goals to be achieved before the mentoring program concludes on June 6. Working closely with mentor and volunteer Walner Toussaint, the team aims to accomplish three key objectives: securing a Letter of Intent from Rwanda’s healthcare system, obtaining a Letter of Intent from the African Mining Union, and finalizing a small-scale venture capital investment. These milestones will strengthen business legitimacy, expand industry partnerships, and improve financial sustainability.

What distinguishes Olsson’s approach is his balanced combination of profit and purpose. While expanding commercial operations in minerals and medical devices, he remains dedicated to creating long-term value for local communities and international partners. His experience demonstrates that African markets are not only viable for business growth but also ideal for building responsible, cross-cultural enterprises.

Looking ahead, Olsson will continue expanding his business footprint across East and West Africa, deepening partnerships in both mineral trading and healthcare solutions. By integrating European technology, African resources, and global market demand, he sets an inspiring example for international entrepreneurs. His story reflects ambition, adaptability, and the powerful impact of connecting different continents through business.

In an era of increasing global collaboration, Olle Olsson proves that vision, experience, and cultural awareness can turn business opportunities into meaningful, sustainable growth—for companies, markets, and people across the world.
