Scoring Team Information

Scoring of Strategy Week Reports is now postponed to 10th-15th March 2026, due to the ongoing editing of the reports to ensure compliance with AAE official reporting standards. . Final scores will be based on the average score of the individual  grades given by all scorers.

The report submitted by the Strategic Week research team members  are scored by a Scoring Panel. Others scoring inputs include post-visit ratings from website visitors. Participants who achieve the top 10%  will be issued with a letter of recommendation in addition to a letter of completion.

The Strategy Week report should be comprehensive, offering a thorough assessment of one enterprise or industry, practical suggestions for overcoming challenges, and a well-structured presentation that enhances readability.  Everyone who submits a report with at least an average score will receive a completion certificate. Scoring will be based on four factors: Content, Originality, Clarity and Presentation

Content 50 %

For the SWOT analysis, the report should offer a comprehensive overview, meticulously dissecting the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The insights should be well – researched and practical, presenting a clear picture of the business landscape.

For the Green model research, the report should be relevant to current global concerns: highlight the importance of green business models in addressing environmental degradation and resource strain. It should emphasize sustainable agriculture and food security within the context of climate change, making the content highly relevant to readers interested in environmental conservation and business ethics.

Strategic recommendations should be spot – on, providing actionable steps for the entrepreneur and their enterprise’s growth and sustainability.

Originality 20%

The analysis should cover the reasons for choosing an enterprise. The author of the report may  utilize their background (knowledge, experience) to analyze the work of an enterprise. Reports should be a detailed exploration that is both insightful and well -researched.  Personal insights may be incorporated into the report if they allow readers to fully appreciate the author’s connection to the work

Plain English and Clarity 15%

The report should be written solely  in the English . For authors who are non-native English speakers, there will be no penalty as long as meanings are clear enough and can be easily interpreted by a scorer.

While proofreading and copy-editing needs may be provided, interns should endeavour to present their work to the readers in an accessible, plain, down-to-earth language as much as possible. They should allow readers to fully appreciate the  clear picture of what they are talking about: presenting a great read for anyone interested in the analysis and offering valuable knowledge in an accessible manner. The title of this article is concise and clear.

Video and Text Presentation 15%

The required report should be from 500 to 1000 words, with an opening, main and concluding sections. Clear and logical subtitles should be used

Video report should be no more than 5 minutes, focusing on clarity, professionalism, and engagement. The intern should use a quiet, well-lit space with good audio and visual quality. Practice your presentation beforehand to ensure smooth delivery and time management. Keep slides concise and visually appealing, and maintain eye contact with the camera.

The Strategy Week reports will be scored by an experienced mentor or senior academic in the area of entrepreneurship management, support and development.  Grading is based on the percent allocations of Content (50%), Originality(20%) Clarity (15%) Presentation (15%)
